Instructional Designer (Grant-Funded)

Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for an instructional designer to support the design of quality online/hybrid courses following the Quality Matters (QM) standards; suggest the types of assessments that would measure student mastery of course objectives; advise and assist faculty in the implementation of technology in the classroom; and assist the instructional technologist with the administration of the learning management system and other technologies used in the teaching and learning process.
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in instructional design and/or adult learning, education or a related field; two years of related work experience and experience using online delivery systems, including web and media based technologies for education; and effective oral and written communication skills.
Preference will be given to applicants with a related master’s degree, knowledge of ADA requirements for online learning, strong project management skills and the ability to “train the trainer.” This full-time position is grant-funded and includes benefits.
