Instructional Designer (Human Resources Analyst I/II/III)
County of Riverside, Riverside, California
On Site, Full Time Position

The County of Riverside Human Resources Department has an opportunity for two Instructional Designers (Human Resources Analyst I/II/III) who will be assigned to the Learning and Organizational Development unit. The position will play a key role in developing online coursework, creating online content, developing curriculum and delivering in-person classes. The Instructional Designer will also work closely with subject matter experts (SME) and County stakeholders to evaluate and understand the need for new e-courses. The Department desires candidates with experience as an instructional designer as well as experience and/or extensive knowledge of Articulate 360, Camtasia, Snagit, Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud, and SumTotal Learning Management system. Additionally, candidates who are certified in Franklin Covey, Vital Smarts, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Strengths Finder, and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) are highly desired. The selected candidate will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The HR Analyst series is a promotional/growth series. The level at which the positions will be filled is at the Department's discretion and based on candidate qualifications.
